ACADEMIC PROJECTS

CARBONDIOXIDE LIQUEFACTION BY COMPRESSION
CLIENT: UNIVERSITY OF ALBERTA
Project Position: Simulation & Research Leader
The project aims to liquefy gaseous carbon dioxide through multi-stage compression and pumping. This reduces environmental impact and is cost-efficient. It was determined that a service charge of $32 CAD per tonne of CO2 is required to break even over the 15-year project life. The model was deemed feasible based on economic and risk assessment.

UTILITY DESIGN AND ENERGY INTEGRATION IN A NATURAL GAS PROCESSING PLANT
CLIENT: KEYERA CORP
Project Position: Simlation & Research Leader
The design evaluates the benefits of heat integration in the multi-process system of processing natural gas and explores the advantages of a co-generation system. The proposal includes the detailed design of amine sweetening, gas dehydration, and refrigeration processes, which are used to process
4000 e3m3/d of raw natural gas while aiming to achieve sales gas specifications provided by Keyera.

ABOUT
A VISUAL STORYTELLER
Throughout my career, I’ve had the great fortune to work on some truly inspiring projects, while meeting many influential and creative individuals along the way. I believe in working together to create a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts. I graduated from the University of Alberta as a Chemical Engineer in 2017. I have one year of co-op experience relating to oil & gas industry and wastewater treatment plant. Currently, I am actively seeking opportunities in an engineering field.
